What fees apply?

Below you'll find information about fees when buying tickets through our platform.

Booking Fees

When tickets are sold via our platform, the organiser receives the full face value of the ticket. The booking fee is added to the ticket price and is typically calculated as a percentage of the face value of the ticket. The booking fee is applied to each ticket to cover the costs of providing our ticketing technology and services, including staff costs, security infrastructure, overheads, tax and more.

The fee per paid ticket on our Pro plan is £0.49 + 4.99% + VAT. Cheaper booking fees apply for student and charity events (£0.49 + 3.99% + VAT). Booking fees may be rounded up to the nearest £0.10/$0.10/€0.10/R0.10 or other applicable currency.

Transaction Fees

Transaction fees are applied to each purchase order, based on the basket value of that order. These fees cover the costs of processing orders (payment processing and security) and fulfilling ticket delivery and validation requirements, including our entry manager software and PoS systems. Premium transaction fees cover additional services and features offered with certain payment methods, if these are implemented.
